Contracts are usually short-term holds, so for open interest to increase this much in a single day, it’s either market makers positioning early, some top-tier smart money opening multi-million-dollar positions, or some insiders catching wind of certain news and unexpectedly going all-in with big positions. But even so, the volatility isn’t that crazy. I thought the pump would keep going.
