[Analyst: Large Exchange Deposits Did Not Surge Alongside BTC Rebound, Limited Potential Selling Pressure]
CryptoQuant analyst Woominkyu noted in a post that Bitcoin closed at $78,450 on September 8, continuing its rebound momentum from around $60,000 during the summer. However, large deposit volumes on spot exchanges did not show a corresponding surge. Data indicates that the daily inflow to the top 10 spot exchanges on September 8 was 5,442 BTC, which is 4.4 times the previous day's amount but only 5.1% higher than the 30-day average. The seven-day average inflow was 4,678 BTC, lower than several peaks earlier this year. From a more macro perspective, the recent price rebound was not accompanied by an abnormal increase in large deposit activity, providing limited evidence of sustained selling pressure from large transfers. The next point of focus will be whether the seven-day average inflow continues to rise as prices weaken.
