[The Rollup Host Andy: ARK's Current SEC Filing Is Not a Tokenized Securities 'Innovation Exemption']
The Rollup host Andy clarified on the X platform that ARK Invest's current filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is not the widely rumored 'innovation exemption' for tokenized securities. The related work being advanced by ARK and Securitize does not require such an exemption. This filing is merely a standard amendment to an existing order from November 2025, which already allows the ARK Venture Fund, an open-ended fund, to issue multiple share classes.
Andy stated that the innovation exemption being planned by the SEC has a broader scope and will have a far greater impact on the entire tokenized securities issuance market than the current arrangements between ARK and Securitize. He still expects that this innovation exemption will be released within a week after the vote on the CLARITY Act concludes.
