Thinking back, last week was just too smooth with both breakouts and breakdowns.
Every trade was a breakout, and there were very few fakeouts.
Only $ASTER and $DASH targeted my liquidity, but I still managed to break even on those.
$DOGE did break out, but when it dropped back to my entry price, I didn’t exit. It broke support and came back near my entry before I finally closed it.
For $ZEC, I went long in the morning and took profits at the new high. I should’ve exited when it spiked to the new high, but $BTC and $ETH pumped two more candles, so I thought the market was picking up and decided to hold. Then $BTC immediately dropped two 15-minute red candles and trapped me again.
I feel like my execution wasn’t the issue, but I misjudged the situation from the start. At this point, I shouldn’t have kept trading breakouts. If you pick the wrong direction from the beginning, no matter how well you manage the trades, you’ll just lose less. And yet, I still ended up losing several million.
Leaving 20 million in the market to wait for the next opportunity.
