Got to hand it to Bitget for their sharp market sensitivity and creativity in trading products.
They’ve brought computing power to the trading screen, and the key isn’t just 'another AI asset,' but whether the cloud GPU rental price can gradually become something everyone understands and can verify.
This time, Bitget launched pre-market contracts for H100USDT and B200USDT. What’s being traded isn’t the physical GPUs themselves, but the rental prices for H100 and B200.
Compared to AI stocks, which are mixed with valuations, financial reports, interest rates, and market sentiment, GPU rental prices are closer to a specific question: when AI demand truly impacts infrastructure, has the supply and demand for computing power shifted?
For now, these are pre-market contracts. Whether they can become a meaningful reference indicator in the future depends on the index rules, the alignment of actual quotes, and liquidity.
If these aspects can be solidified step by step, the significance isn’t just adding another contract, but creating a continuous observation point for computing power prices that were previously scattered across purchase orders and cloud agreements.
