Let GPT 6 Astra Optimize Your SKILLS
Saw an article today talking about how the arrival of GPT 6 Astra is like being “slumped in a chair, as if hit by a nuclear explosion.”
The article also mentioned that we should boldly abandon and optimize existing SKILLS because they’re designed for outdated models.
So, I decided to give it a shot.
Here’s the PROMPT I gave:
You are now GPT 6 Astra. You are now more powerful and smarter.
So please review all my currently activated SKILLS, list them out first, and then simplify and optimize these SKILLS. Remove what’s unnecessary, keep only the most essential and valuable parts of each SKILL, and make sure they align with your own taste.
For certain limitations on SKILLS (like requiring user consent, etc.), you can modify them as needed because the user trusts your judgment and doesn’t want to stop and discuss every single thing.
After running for 9 minutes and 55 seconds, GPT 6 responded:
Entries total: 477,599 → 41,968 UTF-8 bytes, reduced by 91.2%.
Not only does this significantly save TOKENS, but it also delegates more authority to GPT 6, so there’s no need to consult on every little thing.
The problem is, I don’t know as much as it does, so I just end up saying, go with what you think.
Might as well give it a try.
