[Aptos: Testnet State to Reset on October 7, Mainnet and Devnet Unaffected] Aptos announced that the first Testnet state reset is scheduled for October 7, during which the Testnet will restart from a new genesis block. Existing deployed contracts, test accounts, balances, and historical data will be cleared, and related applications will need to be redeployed. Aptos stated that the Testnet has processed over 10 billion transactions, with the state storage size continuously expanding. According to the AIP-147 proposal, periodic resets will be implemented to control storage size. This operation will not affect the functioning of the Mainnet and Devnet.
