Apple to Launch Brand-New “Readiness” App

Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on September 9, U.S. tech journalist Gurman revealed that Apple plans to announce the launch of a brand-new Apple Watch app called Readiness at the "Wonderlust" event this Wednesday. The app will be a derivative version of the existing Vitals App. The Vitals App integrates several key health metrics, including average heart rate, respiratory rate, blood oxygen levels, wrist temperature, and sleep duration from the previous night. Since the Readiness App is likely to use many of the same metrics, it is expected to further assess users' physical recovery levels and whether their bodies are ready for activity. The launch of this new app aims to better compete with screenless health tracking devices like Whoop and Oura. (Jin10)
