OpenAI Releases ChatGPT Images 2.5 Image Model

OpenAI has announced the launch of the next-generation image model, ChatGPT Images 2.5, and introduced GPT‑Image‑2.5 Flare and GPT‑Image‑2.5 Sunburst in the API. The new model claims to reduce image generation latency by up to 50% compared to Images 2.0, with significant improvements in detail sharpness, light and shadow texture, reference image fidelity, and multi-round fine editing.
