[Iran Allegedly Launches Consecutive Attacks on the U.S., U.S. Warns of Missile Advancements]
According to a report by Jinse Finance on September 9, citing U.S. officials via The Wall Street Journal, Iran launched another attack on U.S. Navy vessels on Monday, marking the second action targeting U.S. maritime assets within three days. However, the U.S. military has yet to acknowledge this attack. U.S. officials stated that Iran's recent actions against U.S. naval vessels suggest it may be employing more advanced missiles. Previously, Iran claimed to have used new missiles with advanced guidance capabilities to strike U.S. ships. Analysts believe that some Iranian missiles are equipped with electro-optical seekers, capable of identifying and tracking moving targets based on imagery. In response to Iran's attacks on U.S. naval vessels, the U.S. had earlier targeted three Iranian oil tankers. The U.S. hopes to force Iran to make concessions through blockades and sanctions, but U.S. officials indicate that Iran is currently intensifying its threats against U.S. naval vessels.
