At the launch of JAMRROC, the oversight committee established to support the work of the National Recovery and Reconstruction Authority (NaRRA), I spoke about the work underway to rebuild Jamaica following Hurricane Melissa. I know many families and communities are still dealing with the impact of the hurricane. Our focus through NaRRA is on coordinating the rebuilding process, restoring communities and helping Jamaicans return to their homes, livelihoods and daily lives. There is still much work to be done, but we are rebuilding with purpose and with the people of Jamaica at the centre of the process.(Andrew Holness)
