Today, we officially launched the Jamaica Reconstruction and Resilience Oversight Committee (JAMRROC) to strengthen oversight of Jamaica’s post-hurricane recovery and reconstruction efforts. JAMRROC will provide independent oversight of reconstruction projects, with a focus on transparency, accountability and the responsible use of public resources. We are ensuring that the rebuilding of our communities is well managed and that Jamaicans can have confidence in the recovery process.
