Thanks to @yzilabs for the shoutout
TL;DR:
1. The financial industry is essentially an industry that sells "rules" as its final product.
2. When designing a product, before thinking about being "user-oriented," you need to first consider being "sales-oriented."
If the sales team thinks your product isn’t profitable and has no interest in selling it, you won’t have any users.
3. Just having a well-designed mechanism isn’t enough—you need to design a sales incentive mechanism to get more people to help promote (CX) your product.
It’s not necessarily because users "love" your product, but because your product "sells well and makes money."
This explains why many projects that claim to be "community-first,"
or even do massive buybacks and airdrops,
still lose out to competing products that are considered "CS."
Why? Because those competitors sustain a large symbiotic interest group, and that group becomes their distribution channel.
