COPPER SURGES TO ALL-TIME HIGH Copper hit a record $14,533 a ton on the London Metal Exchange, fueled by fears of potential US tariffs on refined copper imports. Prices have jumped 17% over the past year, supported by tight mine supply and rising demand from data centers, renewable energy and power grids.
