Anyone who frequently transfers USDT on TRON has probably encountered this super frustrating situation: You’ve got thousands, even tens of thousands of USDT in your wallet, but you can’t send it out. It’s not because your balance isn’t enough, but because— you don’t have TRX to pay the transaction fee. Then you have to scramble to buy some TRX, withdraw a bit of TRX from an exchange, or ask a friend to send you some TRX. Honestly, for experienced users, this is just an inconvenience. But for people new to on-chain transfers, it’s completely counterintuitive: I’m transferring USDT, so why do I need to prepare another coin first? Well, this problem has now been solved in Binance Wallet. Binance Wallet now supports paying TRC-20 USDT transaction fees directly with USDT. In other words: Before: Have USDT ↓ Realize you don’t have TRX ↓ Get/Exchange TRX ↓ Go back to transfer USDT Now: Have USDT → Directly transfer USDT. The actual process is super simple: Open Binance Wallet → Go to "Assets" → "Send USDT" → Enter the address and amount → Find "Network Fee Payer" → Select USDT → Confirm and send Throughout the entire process, you don’t need to keep a small amount of TRX in your wallet just for this one transfer. I think the real value of GasFree lies here. It’s not some grand-sounding technical upgrade, but rather a solution to a small, everyday hassle that people constantly face. Especially since stablecoin transfers on TRON are already such a high-frequency use case. Receiving payments, making payments, consolidating funds, transferring between exchanges... If you have to think about “do I have enough fee tokens” every single time, it’s just adding unnecessary operational costs for users. Now that GasFree is integrated into Binance Wallet, it essentially connects TRON’s stablecoin infrastructure with Binance Wallet’s user interface. For regular users, you don’t even need to understand the technical details of Gas or Energy. If you have USDT, you can send USDT. Honestly, I think these seemingly small UX improvements are exactly what’s needed to make on-chain payments truly accessible to the masses. If you have Binance Wallet, give it a try yourself: Assets → Send USDT → Network Fee Payer → USDT From now on, even if you only have USDT in your wallet and no TRX, you won’t have to scramble to find Gas anymore. @justinsuntron @DeFi_JUST TRONEcostar
