[Ethereum Research: Transaction Access Should Differentiate 'Order Dependency' Rather Than State Read Volume]
Odaily Planet Daily News - The latest research from Ethereum Research suggests that in the context of frame transactions and account abstraction, the core dimension for transaction access rules should be whether the verification logic depends on the order of transactions within a block, rather than the 'state read volume.' The article categorizes transactions into three types: single-writer states, shared states that accept old state roots, and competitive states that must read real-time values. It argues that many existing mechanisms essentially set different thresholds based on this dimension. The authors further point out that only 'exactly-once' assertions (e.g., whether a nullifier has been used, whether a slot is still vacant) inherently require full-order coordination and cannot completely eliminate order dependency through purely proof-based access.
