The weekend was pretty normal, nothing unexpected happened. Next week’s focus will be Thursday’s PPI and Friday’s CPI data, especially the CPI data, which will provide strong guidance for the market’s speculation on the Fed’s September decision. Although I think the Fed is unlikely to raise rates unless inflation rises significantly, the market is still worried. I mentioned yesterday that I wouldn’t rush to buy the dip before the dot plot is released. Even for bitcoin:native dual tokens, there’s still about 5% downside risk. My main concern is whether the Fed’s voting members might give Trump a hard time during the September meeting. This possibility exists, and they could spook the market without actually adjusting rates. If, before the meeting, there’s still no clear trend between the U.S. and Iran, or if Iran hasn’t decided to open up certain shipping lanes, then rising inflation in September will inevitably impact the Fed. In that case, will they tighten the market a bit and wait for the mid-term? I’m not sure, but if it happens, it’s definitely not good news. Anyway, let’s get through next Friday first. If Friday’s data shows inflation is already starting to rise, the market might start panicking early. So, I’ll be more cautious with dual tokens next week, especially avoiding CPI-related data. @Gate Crypto, U.S. stocks, Hong Kong stocks, Korean stocks, gold, CFDs, prediction markets all-in-one trading platform.
