Lots of people made 1M, so why hasn’t anyone around you?
Because the ones who lost it all don’t post on Twitter. Screenshots are inherently one-sided—profit screenshots get likes and retweets, while loss screenshots only invite ridicule. So, your timeline is always filled with winners. What you’re seeing isn’t the real market distribution; it’s a sugar-coated, filtered version.
The structure of the meme game has never changed: a tiny minority takes the majority of the chips, while the rest provide liquidity. The harder the first wave pumps, the more convinced the latecomers are that ‘this time, I can too.’ The frenzy itself is the fuel, and profit screenshots are the spark.
If you really want to play, think through two things first. One, will losing all this money affect your life? If the answer is yes, don’t touch it. Two, what’s your exit strategy? Is it selling half at 3x or cashing out completely at 10x? Write it down before you enter, because when the price pumps, people lose all rationality.
I’m not here to tell you not to participate. The hype is real this time, and there’s money to be made on-chain. But you need to be clear about which side of the table you’re sitting on—are you making money off the market, or are you just becoming content for someone else’s screenshots?
There will always be stories of people making 1M. The question is, why would it be your turn?
