This liquidation screenshot is probably familiar to everyone. These past couple of days, the altcoins have been pumping like crazy, making it hard not to pay attention to them. If you don’t play, you feel FOMO watching them pump. If you do play, you risk getting liquidated. Last night, a friend of mine said he opened a 5x leverage position on an altcoin. He told me it clearly broke below support, and in less than half an hour, he lost a few thousand dollars—basically a month’s salary! Altcoins are still the same old altcoins: small capital can grow fast, but it disappears even faster. 5x leverage isn’t much, but it’s enough to turn excitement into panic real quick. He asked me if I’m trading. Honestly, watching these altcoins pump is tempting. This morning, I opened a position on a certain altcoin, and as soon as I got in, it just added fuel to the fire! This altcoin cycle feels different from the ones I’ve played before. It’s not smooth at all.
