I've long fought for and supported legislation to make sure people know where their beef comes from. I applaud the Trump administration for taking steps to give Wyoming's high-quality beef a fair advantage over lesser quality foreign products. Give consumers the facts, and they'll choose American produced beef every time. It's about time consumers get the transparency they deserve, and our producers get to compete on a level playing field. The government needs to cut the red tape and get out of the way so ranchers can invest in delivering premium beef for consumers. That’s all we are asking for.(Senator Cynthia Lummis)
