[Abu Dhabi AI Giant G42 Considers Selling Majority Stake to U.S. Firms to Secure Chip Supply]
According to DeepTech TechFlow on September 4, Bloomberg reported that insiders revealed executives at Abu Dhabi-based artificial intelligence company G42 have recently engaged in exploratory discussions about selling a majority stake in the company to U.S. firms. The aim is to ensure continued access to high-end AI chips beyond next year. Sources stated that G42 is seeking to secure its channels for obtaining advanced AI chips by introducing U.S. capital and partners. If the deal is finalized, it would result in a significant restructuring of the equity of this AI company, which was founded approximately eight years ago and is led by key members of the UAE royal family.
