Seeing that BLINK has risen and @ imsongshu has been continuously building, I took the time to study the latest updates on dontblink.
As the potential energy of FOMO continues to increase, I am curious: is there a chance for dontblink, which is combined with FOMO, to update this time?
Let's start with the conclusion:
There is a chance, but now the one rising is BLINK, and the one really waiting for verification is dontblink V2.
The recent changes in dontblink are not simply a website modification.
After the original team faded out, the community took over the project, rebuilt V2, migrated management permissions to 2/3 Duosign, and updated the website, data system, and distribution mechanism.
The platform now offers 8 distribution modes, including regular fair distribution Bonding Curve、Fair Drop、 Celebrity Treasury, Stock Valuation, Shareholder Dividends, Stock Repurchase Treasury, and AI Arcade.
From a product perspective, dontblink is even one of the most feature rich launch platforms on Robinhood Chain.
But what really makes me feel like it still has a chance is not just these features, but its combination with FOMO.
The two can be simply understood as:
Dontblink is responsible for the issuance mechanism and asset supply;
FOMO is responsible for discovery, trading, and attention distribution.
The biggest challenge for launch platforms is never to release coins, but who can see them, who will trade them, and who is willing to spread them after they are released.
Pons has taken over the user habit of "quickly issuing coins on Robinhood Chain".
LONG has captured the market mentality of "stock token+Meme" through projects such as AI/NVDA.
Dontblink does not have a clear advantage in competing with them alone.
But if we look at dontblink and FOMO together, the situation is different.
The stronger the potential energy of FOMO, the more traders and attention will enter the platform; Dontblink can convert this traffic into new assets, new trading pairs, and creator revenue.
This is equivalent to connecting the "launch platform" and the "transaction distribution platform" together:
Dontblink creates assets, FOMO distributes assets.
Moreover, after the community took over, the dontblink related entry on FOMO has been updated to the new community site, indicating that the product connection at this level has not been interrupted due to the departure of the original team.
This may be the most easily overlooked advantage of dontblink.
However, opportunity does not necessarily mean success.
At present, the historical transaction volume of dontblink is approximately $34.97 million, but BLINK contributes 54.4% per coin.
Community V2 has released 68 projects, but none of them have exceeded $100000 in FDV.
That is to say, dontblink has proven that it can remake the product, but has not yet proven that it can leverage FOMO's traffic to become a new leader.
The rise of BLINK is more like the market trading three expectations in advance:
Firstly, after the community takes over, dontblink will not disappear;
Secondly, the growth of FOMO may bring new traffic to dontblink;
Thirdly, platform revenue may be returned to BLINK through a repurchase mechanism in the future.
The third point requires special attention.
Dontblink standard mode charges a 1% transaction fee. After deducting the Uniswap protocol fee, the creator and dontblink vault each received approximately 0.4167% of the transaction amount.
The platform also stipulates that the treasury shall allocate at least 10% of its revenue as a repurchase budget.
But currently, what we see more is that the mechanism has been established, and we have not yet seen stable, automatic, and continuous BLINK repurchase records.
So, it cannot be simply understood as:
FOMO trading volume increases
=increase in dontblink revenue
BLINK is bound to rise.
There are still several key links missing in the middle:
Can FOMO continue to import real users to dontblink;
Will these users trade projects issued by dontblink;
Will the revenue from the agreement continue to enter the treasury;
Will the treasury repurchase BLINK according to transparent rules.
If this link can run smoothly, dontblink will have a very competitive combination:
BLINK community+dontblink issuance mechanism+FOMO transaction distribution+agreement revenue repurchase.
Pons wins in terms of issuance scale.
Long wins in stock narrative and top assets.
The real opportunity for dontblink is to connect issuance, trading, and distribution into a closed loop.
But the most important thing for its next step is not to continue adding a 9th or 10th issuance model.
Instead, it focuses on the traffic of FOMO and the attention of the BLINK community, running the first million or even tens of millions of dollars worth of V2 projects.
If it runs out, BLINK's recent rise may just be the beginning of market repricing.
If they cannot run out, FOMO and dontblink are still just two platforms that have product connections but have not completed the value loop.
So what I am most concerned about now is not how much BLINK can still rise, but:
Can FOMO's potential energy truly be transformed into the new leader of dontblink.
This is the key to determining whether Dontblink has a second chance.
For those who have not yet registered FOMO, it is recommended to do so as soon as possible. The probability of FOMO becoming the infrastructure of this cycle is increasing. Registration can be done through the following link:
