[Samsung Electronics and Arm Collaborate on Next-Generation Edge AI Chips] According to DeepTech TechFlow, on September 4th, Korean media Greened.kr reported that Samsung Electronics and Arm (ARM.O) have officially launched joint development of edge AI chips. At the end of August, Arm approved a one-time engineering expense for the development of next-generation edge AI SoC chips and officially initiated the project with Samsung Electronics. The project adopts a collaboration model where Arm provides core technologies, and Samsung Electronics integrates and implements them, aiming to jointly develop customized chips for delivery to end customers.
