[The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Issues the 'Artificial Intelligence SME Entrepreneurship Support Plan (2026-2028)'] According to a report by Caixin, the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has issued the 'Artificial Intelligence SME Entrepreneurship Support Plan (2026-2028).' Over three years, the plan aims to cultivate a large number of AI startup enterprises with strong innovation vitality and significant growth potential in key areas such as industry applications, data services, and intelligent computing power. The goal is to foster over 10,000 new technology and innovation-driven small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), surpass 2,000 specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprises, and see the emergence of a batch of gazelle companies and unicorn companies. Focusing on the field of artificial intelligence, the plan includes the high-standard construction of 10 technology-based business incubators and 10 national SME public service demonstration platforms (bases). Additionally, it aims to cultivate 10 new national-level SME specialized industrial clusters. The entrepreneurial and innovative vitality of AI SMEs is expected to continue to flourish, and a framework for high-quality development of SMEs empowered by artificial intelligence will begin to take shape.
