[Tesla Cybercab Begins Operations in Austin, Target Price Below $30,000]
According to a report by Cailian Press, Tesla announced on September 3 local time that the Cybercab, a cyber autonomous electric vehicle, has officially begun operations in Austin, USA. Tesla stated that this model, which does not require a steering wheel, pedals, or rearview mirrors, will achieve higher operational efficiency and meet more travel demands.
According to a previous report by Sci-Tech Daily, in terms of cost, the target price for the Cybercab is below $30,000, with operational costs controlled at under $0.20 per mile. If this cost target is achieved, it will directly impact the economic calculations of the Robotaxi model compared to human-driven ride-hailing vehicles, providing a cost foundation for its large-scale operations.
