[Downdetector: Service Disruptions Reported on Multiple AI Platforms Including OpenAI, Claude, and Grok]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, on September 3, the network monitoring website Downdetector indicated that several major artificial intelligence platforms experienced service disruptions on Thursday morning local time. OpenAI, Claude, Grok, and Cursor were all affected.
Claude displayed the following error message: 'Claude is unable to respond to your message due to unexpected capacity limitations. Please try again later.'
One of Grok's error messages stated: 'Grok is currently experiencing issues. We are working to restore service as soon as possible.' Another error message from Grok read: 'This model is temporarily unavailable. Please try another model.'
Downdetector users first reported service interruptions or failures for Grok and Claude at around 9:00 AM Eastern Time (9:00 PM Beijing Time), while issues with OpenAI were reported at approximately 10:30 AM Eastern Time (10:30 PM Beijing Time).
