VARA and Securitize Sign MoU to Drive Tokenization Innovation in Dubai

According to Deep Tide TechFlow on September 3, as reported by Cointelegraph, the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BlackRock's tokenization platform, Securitize. The two parties will establish a collaborative framework to support the implementation of regulated tokenization projects, attract institutional participation, and strengthen Dubai's digital asset ecosystem. Securitize co-founder and CEO Carlos Domingo stated that Dubai has become one of the most forward-thinking jurisdictions globally for digital asset innovation. The collaboration aims to advance tokenization from "concept to mainstream financial infrastructure." VARA noted that the MoU currently focuses on building a cooperative framework, with no specific projects announced at this time.
