Swiss Bitcoin financial services provider Pocket Bitcoin updated its investigation results for the August security incident, revealing that 5,120 customers were affected by a data breach. Exposed information includes names, addresses, bank transfer amounts, and dates, with some cases involving IBANs. Additionally, data from 291 customers was leaked, potentially including ID documents, proof of funds, Bitcoin addresses, and residential addresses. Pocket Bitcoin stated that its customer and transaction databases were not compromised. The leaked data originated from bank correspondence files and transaction lists stored in the affected customer service system. Users' Bitcoin and private keys remain unaffected. There is currently no evidence that the leaked data has been misused. The incident has been reported to data protection authorities in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, as well as the police. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/news-67750
