WuTalk has learned that Hyperliquid announced plans to add an optional permissioned market feature (HIP-3*) in future network upgrades. Once enabled, market deployers or their sub-deployers will be able to manage on-chain whitelists to restrict participants in specific markets. This feature is an optional extension of HIP-3 and will not affect existing markets. The initial version of HIP-3* is now live on the testnet.
