[Anthropic Upgrades Claude Code/Cowork, Enables Background Control of User Mac] According to IT Home, Anthropic has announced an upgrade to the computer control features of Claude Cowork and Claude Code, allowing background operation on user Macs. On macOS 15 and above, Claude can perform clicks, inputs, and navigation through screen interactions in the background while users handle other tasks. Users can adjust the settings to enable a 'Full Control' mode. This feature supports both the Cowork (knowledge work such as document processing and file organization) and Code (development tasks) products and is currently available only to Pro and Max individual subscription users. Team and Enterprise plans have not yet been opened.
