THE BLOCK: US CFTC has filed a motion to dismiss CME's lawsuit over the agency’s decision to classify perpetual futures as futures contracts rather than swaps. CFTC said CME "lacks standing," calling its competitive-injury claims empty because CME could list perpetuals itself.
"This lawsuit is much ado about nothing," CFTC said.(The Block)
