[CITIC Securities: Maintain the Judgment That the Federal Reserve Will Keep Interest Rates Unchanged in September This Year]
CITIC Securities' research report states that the U.S. July CPI month-on-month growth recorded 0.1%, and core CPI month-on-month growth was 0.2%, both in line with market expectations. The slight month-on-month increase in U.S. CPI in July was mainly driven by a rebound in core goods and an acceleration in core services, while the second consecutive month of declining energy prices partially offset upward inflationary pressures. The year-on-year growth rate of U.S. PPI in July continued to decline, and overall upward risks to U.S. inflation expectations remain manageable. Currently, there is still significant uncertainty regarding the outlook for U.S.-Iran conflicts, and risks of rising crude oil prices and U.S. inflationary pressures persist. However, it is expected that overall U.S. inflationary pressures will remain controllable, and the judgment that the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates unchanged in September this year is maintained.
