Bitcoin mining pool OCEAN has stopped supporting the BIP-110 forked chain and has explicitly stated that it will continue using SHA-256, without following up on its subsequent BLAKE2b proof-of-work hard fork. OCEAN previously provided an independent mining entry for the BIP-110 chain, but the chain experienced prolonged stagnation due to insufficient hash power after August 8, following AmericaF. The BIP-110 forked chain later switched to BLAKE2b from block 961,640 on August 30 and reduced mining difficulty to continue producing blocks. OCEAN stated that previous BIP-110 mining rewards could not mature as they did not reach 100 confirmations and will no longer pay subsequent related rewards. Miners who wish to continue supporting this chain can switch to CONVOY Mining. (Bitcoin News) https://(wublock123.com)/news/news-67704
