CoinDesk, citing two insiders, reported that Kraken's parent company, Payward, has postponed its IPO plans to no earlier than Q2 2027. Payward had secretly submitted a draft S-1 registration statement for a common stock IPO to the SEC in November 2025, but later shelved the listing plans due to a weak crypto market, declining trading volumes, and valuation pressures. Shortly before filing, the company raised $800 million at a $20 billion valuation, with Citadel Securities investing $200 million. Payward's adjusted revenue for Q2 was $508 million, up 17% year-over-year; funded accounts grew to 6.6 million, a 42% increase year-over-year, with platform assets totaling approximately $40 billion. https://(wublock123.com)/news/kraken-parent-payward-delays-ipo-until-q2-2027-67694
