Global broad money supply has surpassed $150 trillion. At 21 million BTC, parity with today’s fiat money supply would imply ~$7M BTC. But I think even that comparison may undersell Bitcoin. Fiat money is like the newspaper. It’s abundant, permissioned, slow, and endlessly debased. Bitcoin is like the internet. It’s scarce, global, permissionless, and moves at the speed of information. Suggesting Bitcoin can only become as valuable as the fiat monetary system is like saying the internet could only become as valuable as the newspaper industry.
