According to French media Midi Libre, a couple in Alès, France, was recently attacked at home by two masked and armed individuals. The suspects, carrying a handgun and knives, tied up the couple and threatened them for over two hours, demanding they transfer assets via cryptocurrency transactions. Their young child was also in the house at the time.
