[NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang: AI Will Create Hundreds of Thousands of New Jobs, Surge in Demand for Skilled Workers] DeepTech TechFlow reports, on September 1, according to Fortune, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated in an interview with Fox Business that the AI wave will not eliminate jobs but instead create hundreds of thousands of new positions. He specifically pointed out that with the large-scale construction of infrastructure such as chip factories and AI data centers, there will be an explosive demand for skilled trades like electricians, plumbers, and technicians. Huang predicts this will be 'the largest infrastructure buildout in human history.' Currently, NVIDIA has pledged up to $105 billion in credit support for a new OpenAI data center in Ohio. However, the U.S. faces a severe shortage of skilled workers, with an estimated 2.1 million skilled trade positions expected to remain vacant by 2030. In response, companies like Blackstone, Ford, and Google have jointly launched the 'American Skilled Trades Alliance,' aiming to promote skills training across 30 states nationwide.
