David Booth: AI Won't Change Your Investment Approach
深潮TechFlow|Sep 01, 2026 11:54
Deep Tide TechFlow reports, on September 1, according to Fortune, David Booth, founder and chairman of Dimensional Fund Advisors, wrote that while AI may drive significant transformations in fields such as healthcare and transportation, it will not change the pricing logic of stock and bond markets. He believes that the stock market is essentially the world's largest information processing machine, with prices already reflecting all available information. AI cannot systematically identify mispricings to achieve excess returns. Furthermore, he cautioned investors against concentrating their funds on "AI concept stocks," citing the collapse of telecom stocks during the dot-com bubble as an example. He advised participating in the market through broadly diversified investment portfolios rather than betting on a specific winner.
