Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on September 1, according to EAmericatartups, Berlin-based AI native energy platform Cloover announced the completion of a new €86.2 million (approximately $100 million) financing round, along with €350 million in guarantee support from the European Investment Fund (EIF), bringing its total financing to over €1.12 billion (approximately $1.3 billion). At the same time, the company announced that it has officially achieved profitability three years after its founding, with annualized revenue exceeding €301.7 million (approximately $350 million).
Cloover specializes in residential solar energy, heat pumps, and home electrification, collaborating with independent installers to provide financing, software, and energy products. It currently covers five major markets in Europe, completing approximately 20,000 installation projects annually, making it one of the top three residential energy players in Europe's largest energy markets. The company plans to further expand into the UK, France, and Poland markets.
Additionally, Cloover officially launched its AI-native "neo-utility" model, transforming each household into a virtual power plant through its home energy management system. This system aggregates distributed solar energy, storage, heat pumps, and EV charging stations to enable real-time trading of electricity flexibility.
