[Analysis: Approximately 60,000 BTC Accumulated by Large Wallets in August, Small Holders Continue to Sell] BlockBeats News, September 1 — According to a post by CryptoQuant, from August 1 to August 30, wallets holding more than 100 BTC collectively accumulated approximately 60,000 BTC. Meanwhile, wallets holding between 1 and 100 BTC reduced their holdings by about 33,000 BTC, and wallets holding less than 1 BTC reduced their holdings by about 14,000 BTC. Overall, large holders absorbed the supply brought by the market's rise, while small and medium holders took advantage of the rebound to exit and take profits. BTC primarily traded within the $62,000 to $65,000 range before mid-August and broke out of this range on August 19. The buying activity of large wallets accelerated significantly as prices broke out, rather than being limited to pre-positioning during the decline phase. On August 27, BTC briefly touched $80,000 and peaked at $81,500 the following day before pulling back. This rally was not purely driven by leveraged buying but was characterized more by the continuous concentration of BTC from small wallets to large wallets. As of August 30, large wallets had not significantly sold off the approximately 60,000 BTC they accumulated earlier, which can still be interpreted as large holders absorbing the market's rise. However, this does not guarantee that the $80,000 level can be maintained, nor does it confirm that the monthly candle for August will close positively. If large wallets begin to sell the 60,000 BTC they accumulated while BTC remains consistently below $80,000, the previous "absorption" interpretation will be invalidated. [Original Link]
