Gate launches unified USD order book: creating a more efficient USD asset trading liquidity system Gate has officially launched a unified USD order book function, integrating USD, USDC, USD1, RLUSD and other USD denominated assets into a unified USD spot trading market. By sharing the same order book depth, the liquidity of different USD denominated assets can be converged, which helps to enhance market depth and liquidity, and further optimize transaction efficiency. Users can upgrade the Gate App to version v8.35 or above, or access it through the web to experience the unified USD order book function. Taking the BTC/USD market as an example, users can place orders in supported trading currencies such as USD, USDC, USD1, or RLUSD based on their asset situation. Orders of different trading currencies will be uniformly entered into the BTC/USD order book for matching, and prices and order depths will be displayed uniformly in USD units. Even if the buyer and seller choose different trading currencies, orders can still be matched in the same market. The conversion and settlement of related assets are automatically completed by the system, and users do not need to manually exchange them. In actual transactions, users only need to select the desired transaction currency on the order panel and submit the order. The system will complete the deduction according to the currency selected by the user, and the relevant amounts in the account balance, order, and transaction records will also be displayed in the corresponding currency. The transaction pair name and price unit will be displayed uniformly in XXX/USD. The currently supported trading currencies may vary by region, account, or trading pair, and other stablecoins pegged 1:1 to USD may be added in the future. It should be noted that this feature only supports spot trading and does not support spot position by position or full position leveraged trading. If users need to engage in leveraged trading, they can go to the corresponding leveraged trading market. Compared to the model where different stablecoins correspond to independent quotation markets, a unified USD order book can include multiple USD assets in the same market. Users do not need to choose between multiple similar quotation markets to view the merged order depth and market trends. For trading platforms, this model also helps optimize liquidity allocation and provides a more unified market foundation for trading between different USD assets. As the application of stablecoins in digital asset trading and settlement deepens, market collaboration between USD stablecoins has become an important direction for trading platforms to improve USD asset services.
