Fourteen years into entrepreneurship, the vast majority of my personal assets have always been crypto assets. This isn’t negligence—it’s a choice. I’m in this industry because I believe it represents the most promising category of financial assets for humanity. This judgment could be right or wrong, and time will tell.
But if you truly believe in something, the concept of 'cashing out' doesn’t even make sense. Tesla in 2012, early Bitcoin, NVIDIA in 2016, storage chips in 2024—those who truly held on didn’t win by 'timely cashing out,' but by not cashing out at all. Some people have always advised me to convert my crypto assets into houses, stocks, or cash. I understand the good intentions, but I can’t understand the logic: if I already hold what I believe to be the best asset, what’s the point of exchanging it for something second-best?
I’m not encouraging anyone to do the same—this is my judgment, and I’ll bear the risks myself. But I don’t plan to change.
