I've been reflecting on the past few days and how best to address this. First and foremost, no user funds were affected. Even if they were, the amount involved is very small. We have always made users whole in the past, and that commitment will never change. We can easily navigate through this. On a personal level, this one hits different. It's beyond frustrating... it's infuriating. We constantly invest in third-party audits, threat detection, and continuous security upgrades. All this while trying to build an actual business. Yet, despite doing everything right, it's never enough and it hurts. Taking full ownership means admitting that no matter how many precautions you take, "good enough" doesn't exist in Web3 world. We are facing an unprecedented wave of complex attacks never seen before. This is an industry-wide crisis driven by attackers gaining access to increasingly powerful tools. Look at August alone... Balancer, Cosmos, Moonwell, Harmony, and countless others hit in a matter of weeks. This is not a coincidence. The landscape has changed, the asymmetry between defenders and attackers is wider than ever.(Min 🥤)
