US and Iran are at it again... my oil prices though WTI Right now, oil prices (CL) have already broken past $86, and the probability of a rate hike in September is over 60%. Pre-market, US stocks aren’t fluctuating much. Bitcoin erased its gains and dropped back from $79. My $NVDA short position went from $217 this morning to hovering around $219 now. Even though I made some profit on the Nvidia short, my oil short is taking another hit. Looking at US stocks, it’s really like this: no good news, no rally; no bad news, no drop. When there’s neither, it just moves in a narrow range. As for Nvidia, it’s staying put for now, not dropping further. Let’s see if it dips tonight, especially since oil prices are climbing again. Honestly, I have no idea what Trump is thinking. The midterms are coming up soon—doesn’t he feel the pressure? Of course, it’s unlikely to escalate into something major, but the Strait passage is still a big obstacle. Both sides are holding their ground. Let’s see if US stocks experience any big swings. If that happens, Trump might have to ease up a bit. Later tonight, if Nvidia hits a good spot, I’ll close the position. DYOR.
