Serenity: Apple Unexpectedly Becomes a Beneficiary of AI Infrastructure, OpenAI and Anthropic Both Using Mac Devices

OpenAI is reportedly stockpiling tens of thousands of Mac mini and Mac Studio devices for reinforcement learning-related tasks, while Anthropic is renting Mac mini devices from Amazon to complete similar AI work. Serenity also pointed out that Anthropic has begun collaborating with Raspberry Pi to develop new hardware standards for models. However, there is currently no news of OpenAI or Anthropic making large-scale purchases of Raspberry Pi devices for similar tasks. Serenity believes that some customers have shifted to NVIDIA DGX Spark due to the long delivery cycles of Mac devices, suggesting that Apple's advantage in AI hardware demand may not be sustainable in the long term.
