recently, we’ve noticed hardware wallets such as unionkey and digitalshield, along with more than 17 wallets, using large portions of onekey’s firmware, app code, and hardware bom. some of these products are nearly 99% identical to onekey. onekey has always been open source. we have no issue with anyone studying, modifying, or building on our code. however, these products have no affiliation with onekey and are not officially endorsed by us. for third-party products built and sold using onekey’s code, we cannot verify the firmware they actually run, their hardware supply chain, or how they will be maintained. therefore, we cannot take responsibility for their security. hardware wallets protect real assets. when purchasing one, please make sure you’re buying from the official onekey brand and authorized channels. we will remain open source. that won’t change just because someone copies our products.(Yishi)
