These entities are prohibited from conducting any regulated activities in Hong Kong or actively promoting their services to the Hong Kong public (whether within or outside Hong Kong). Earlier reports indicated that Star Bridge Capital experienced an abnormal liquidation incident involving London gold trading. Following the incident, the platform's Hong Kong office was found abandoned. Due to some funds being deposited via the USDT stablecoin, tracking the funds has become more challenging. The Hong Kong police have accepted the case, temporarily classifying it as fraud, but no arrests have been made so far.
