[Fomo's First Round of Funding Supported by 140 Angel Investors, Now Exceeds 200 Angel Investors]
Fomo co-founder Se Yong Park stated that the company's first round of funding involved 140 angel investors, and the current cap table now includes over 200 angel investors. He believes that early-stage entrepreneurs often misjudge the relationship between the company and angel investors, and they should view angel investors as 'call options' betting on the success of the product.
Se Yong Park pointed out that even if a company attracts well-known tech company CEOs, celebrities, or athletes to its shareholder list, their ability to provide meaningful help in the early stages of a startup is often very limited. As the company scales and the product matures, when angel investors genuinely start using the product and feel proud of it, they will be more motivated to actively share the product with others, thereby helping the company reach more potential users.
