According to DigitalAsset, New Zealand's ruling coalition member ACT Party has unveiled the 'Unlocking New Zealand's Digital Economy' policy proposal, outlining six digital finance reforms. These include tax exemptions on investment gains for individual investors holding digital assets for over one year, tax-free small payments below a certain amount using digital assets, and establishing separate regulatory and tax frameworks for stablecoins and RWAs. The ACT Party stated that individuals selling eligible digital assets within 12 months of purchase will still be taxed, but sales after holding for over 12 months will be tax-free. Professional traders and businesses will remain subject to the current tax system. The party also plans to clarify legal and tax standards for tokenized securities and RWAs, covering assets like unlisted companies, infrastructure, renewable energy, farms, and commercial real estate. https://(wublock123.com)/news/nz-act-party-proposes-one-year-tax-free-digital-asset-gains-stablecoin-rwa-framework-67373
