US GROWTH LOST MOMENTUM IN JULY
US economic growth weakened in July, according to the Chicago Fed.
Its National Activity Index fell to -0.08 from 0.06 in June, signaling growth below the historical trend.
Production, sales and consumer spending indicators deteriorated, with consumption turning negative.
